A training session under Faculty Development Program entitled, “Training and Development: New Pedagogical Techniques” was conducted to establish the consensus among the faculty members on the effective teaching styles to maximize the students class engagement and learning capacity. Although, no uniform teaching style can be implemented across all the departments. Yet, the faculty can concentrate on some common and frequently used teaching styles employed all around the world in the current dynamic situation where online learning became an integral part of our education system. For instance, according to The Cone of Learning: after two weeks we tend to remember only 10% of what we read, 20% of what we hear, 30% of what we see, 50% of what we see and hear, 70% of what we say, 90% of what we say and do. Thus, the faculty members must focus on the students’ learning through practical knowledge, scenarios, group discussions, case studies and role modeling.
