PCEP-Summary of Placement Bureau Session organized by QEC

During the session (organized by QEC) with faculty we discussed the significant and Importance of Placement Bureau in universities to bridge gap between industries and academia, we tried to describe the role is placement Bureau and its workflow. We also elaborated the paramount objective, vision and mission of placement bureau at TUF. Faculty was highly enthusiastic to know the core activities of the placement bureau. We also share our achievements of 2021 in terms of job placement, MoUs we signed, job fairs we arranged, and workshop for personal, career and professional development we are conducting. We also highlighted the major captured market in term of industrial collaboration. At the end we described theme of the session is to take the faculty as a Key Ingredient in motivating-Students into Career exploration to enhance successful placement and requested them to disperse the awareness of placement bureau among students that;

  1. “What is Placement Bureau”?
  2. “Why the visit of students to placement bureau is so important”?
  3. How does the Placement Bureau can play its role in career planning and placement?

    4. We also requested to the faculty to cooperate with placement bureau by;

  4. Provide the Practical Implementation of the concept by using industrial terminologies.
  5. Arrange Industry study tours.
  6. Trying to engage the students in industrial solution as a final year project.

This session was interpreted as an attempt to motivate faculty to involve students with the placement bureau. The faculty actively participated in the session and showed their interest by raising the queries.
